Placement Settings

Each Admix placement object has the Admix Banner/Video script component. You can use this component to configure placement events and play with other features like Default Texture, Touch Click, or Gaze Click. Let's run through these extra features now.

For more information about Admix placement events, please refer to this article.

Default Texture setup

Starting with version 2.2 of our SDK, Admix supports setting up a custom default texture for each ad placement. The default texture will be visible in any case where the placement was not filled with a real ad. This default texture can be transparent, but there's a lot of creative opportunity here too. Designing fictional ads for your game world is a great alternative, or this space could be used for cross-promotion of your other products or games.

Note, Admix only displays the top 10 visible banners in the camera viewport at a time. All other banners remain transparent. Default textures will be displayed always.

How do you setup Default Texture?

In order to setup the default texture for a banner, first select the Admix placement whose default texture you want to change and go to the "Admix Banner" script. There, you'll see the Default Texture option which allows you to pick a new default picture for your ad placement. admix banner script
